Wai construction sits at the junction of three holiday markets: Panchgani and Mahabaleshwar weekenders, Dhom backwater lakefront plots, and the town's own primary-home owners. The brief that comes to us most is a 1,200–2,000 sqft weekend home on a sloped farm - designed around a verandah and a view, with a simple roof line that a local contractor can execute to a fixed budget.

The Wai–Dhom belt is basalt with steep slopes in the farm fringe—retaining walls and cut-and-fill dominate the civil scope, and plots near the backwaters sit on a high seasonal water table.
